First Entry

I have been under pressure by exactly one (1) person to create a blog, so here it is!!
It is Saturday morning, and Kirin was up all night with a terrible stomach ache, so I am trying to be quiet as a mouse. (we live in a studio) SO, rather than do the dishes or rearrange the bookshelves, I have actually started studying for my Architectural Registration Exam (ARE) which I have been meaning to do since I graduated last January ('04). Well, at least I got as far as getting all my study aids together, digging a few books out of the garage, and reading the Preface to "Fundamentals of Building Construction; Materials and Menthods," while on the pot. Now I am writing this, but I see a long, quiet morning in front of me to tackle the Introduction.
